American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her acting career began with a supporting role in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt in the third season, she played reporter Willa McPherson. She also played an in-joint role on the short-lived show The Ex List. She was a part of the young Moira O'Hara in the debut season of FX's American Horror Story, and she played Kaylee in the season's third. She played Jessie Anderson's character in the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie played her character in the NBC show This Is Us. She also voiced several characters in Family Guy's animated comedy. Since her appearance in 2019, she has been starring as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 years old at which point her mom and her moved to California [11] where they stayed for a year , before moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to be interested in singing, acting, and photography when she was 13. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue her acting career.
